Hello Everyone,

My name is Desirae (Dez) DuBois. I am a graduate from the University of Maine with a major in Kinesiology and Physical Education and minor in Health Education. Currently I am a Elementary Physical Education Teacher at W.G. Mallett School in Farmington ME, as well as, Cape Cod Hill School in New Sharon, ME.

I grew up in a small town in Northern Maine called Island Falls. It's a beautiful little town with two lakes, a golf course, and campground. Great for a vacation place year round!

As a physical educator, I plan to focus on the development of skills at a young age. I want my students to have the opportunity to reach utilization and proficiency levels as they get older. I plan to focus on skills that will help them become and remain physically active throughout their whole life. I also plan to provide my students with knowledge on why physical activity is so important and ways they can remain physically active outside of class.
